Customer called: 'It fills with water but won't agitate — just sits there humming.'
Motor coupling sheared clean. The plastic coupling between motor and transmission had snapped — classic failure on this chassis after 6–8 years. Confirmed with continuity test on the motor winding: healthy. Coupling: gone.

'Bottom drawer is warm. Top section fine. Ice maker stopped two weeks ago.'
Evaporator fan motor seized. Ice buildup behind the rear panel had jammed the fan blade — Samsung's known frost issue on this series. Pulled the panel: solid ice block around the evaporator coil. Defrost heater had also failed (open circuit, confirmed with ohmmeter).
Manual defrost, replaced evaporator fan motor (DA31-00146E) and defrost heater assembly (DA47-00244B). Applied thermal foam seal to door gasket gap that was admitting warm humid air. Labor: 1 hr 45 min.

SHPM88Z75N Dishwasher
'E24 error code. Dishes coming out dirty. Water pooling on the bottom after cycle.'
E24 is a drain fault. Removed the sump filter — packed solid with broken glass and label residue. Drain pump impeller cracked, preventing full drain. Secondary issue: spray arm clogged at 4 of 5 nozzles, explaining the dirty dishes.
Cleared sump, replaced drain pump assembly (00611316), cleaned and reinstalled spray arms. Ran two diagnostic cycles. Full drain confirmed, spray pattern restored. Labor: 55 minutes.
